IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz will meet with media Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. (CT) in the Player’s Auditorium in the Hayden Fry Football Complex.
The briefing with local, regional, and national media will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes head to Champaign for their final road contest of the season, where they will face Illinois at 11:01 a.m. (CT) at Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on BTN with Cory Provus, J Lehman, and Rebecca Haarlow on the call.
Iowa enters the contest with a 6-3 overall and 3-2 Big Ten record after dropping a 51-14 decision at Minnesota on Nov. 8. Illinois, who was idle last week, is 4-5, 1-4. The Illini beat the Gophers, 28-24, on Oct. 25 before falling 55-14 at Ohio State on Nov. 1.
Iowa and Illinois are meeting for the first time since 2008 — a 27-24 Illini victory. The win snapped a five-game Hawkeye winning streak in the series.
In addition to live coverage of each of Ferentz’s weekly news conferences, subscribers to Hawkeye All-Access also have exclusive access to the weekly visits with the media of UI basketball coaches Fran McCaffery and Lisa Bluder, live and exclusive coverage of Ferentz’s, McCaffery’s and Bluder’s postgame news conferences after home events, live and exclusive coverage of the weekly “Hawk Talk” radio shows of Iowa’s head football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball coaches, and the live play-by-play of every Iowa football game featuring the Hawkeye Radio Network’s Gary Dolphin, Ed Podolak and Rob Brooks, and all men’s basketball, women’s basketball and wrestling events.
