IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery and his staff will be conducting boys basketball summer youth camps on the University of Iowa campus this summer. Those interested should sign up today while space is still available. All of last year’s camps sold out.
The Day Camp will be held, June 15-18, for all boys 6-12 years old. Cost is $300 and the camps will run each day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with lunch included.
The Overnight and Commuter Camp will be held, June 21-24, for boys 8-17 years old. Cost is $450 for resident campers and $300 for commuter campers. Resident campers will stay on campus in a residence hall. Commuter campers will arrive each morning at 8:30 a.m. and depart at 8:30 p.m.
Father Son Camp will be held, June 19-20 for boys in grades K-6. Cost is $260 per father and son pair. The camp starts Friday at 6:30 p.m. and ends at noon on Saturday. Campers will stay on campus in a residence hall with breakfast being provided.
