He earned third team All-Big Ten honors this season from league coaches after earning honorable mention honors from the coaches as a junior. Lomax is third on the team with 82 tackles, including 37 solo stops and 45 assists. He has one interception, six pass break-ups and a forced fumble. He has 25 career starts and recorded 186 career tackles.

Lomax, a graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School, earned academic All-Big Ten honors each of the past two seasons.
