IOWA CITY, IA – The University of Iowa women’s tennis team will host the University of Maryland for a Big Ten home matchup at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex this weekend. The Hawkeyes hold a season record of 9-6 overall and 0-2 in the Big Ten.

The Hawkeyes have faced the Terrapins only once in program history, Iowa fell short in 1998, falling to Maryland, 4-2. The Hawkeyes will face two other Big Ten teams following the match against Maryland. Iowa hosts Wisconsin and Minnesota the final weekend in March on Friday and Sunday.
Action begins Sunday at 11 a.m. (CT). Admission is free.
