IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa women tennis sophomores Zoe Douglas and Anastasia Reimchen finished the 2016 season ranked No. 88 in the ITA doubles rankings.
Together, Douglas and Reimchen had a 7-5 record and were ranked as high as No. 49 nationally. Their biggest win of the season came against Ohio State when Douglas and Reimchen knocked off third-ranked Miho Kawase and Anna Sanford, 6-2.
“I’m happy for Zoe and Anastasia ending the year ranked,” said UI head coach Katie Dougherty. “They put in a lot work, grew together as a team, and got better every week.”
