IOWA CITY, Iowa — The Big Ten Network (BTN), in conjunction with the University of Iowa, released its television and game time schedule for the 2016-17 women’s basketball season on Monday.
Every Hawkeye basketball game during conference play (Dec. 28-Feb. 26) will be televised or streamed. Iowa is slated to appear on BTN seven times, ESPN2 once, and streamed digitally on BTN Plus on BTN2GO seven times. Iowa’s home finale against Wisconsin is a TV wildcard selection, which will be announced at a later date. Iowa’s nonconference contest against Notre Dame in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge will also be televised nationally on BTN.
Season tickets can be requested for Iowa women’s basketball at the UI Athletic Ticket Office located at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, online at hawkeyesports.com, or over the phone by calling 1-800-IA-HAWKS.
Iowa returns nine letterwinners from last year’s 19-win team, including its top three leading scorers: Ally Disterhoft (17.1 ppg), Chase Coley (11.1 ppg), and Megan Gustafson (10.7 ppg).
