IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving team has been named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team.
The awards are in recognition of teams that achieved a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2016 fall semester. A record 638 teams, representing 394 institutions were honored, including 91 percent of Division I women’s teams meeting the mark.
The Hawkeye women posted a 3.17 team grade point average.
Iowa returns to action Feb. 3, hosting Northern Iowa and Western Illinois at 6 p.m. (CT) in its final dual competition of the 2016-17 season.
