IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery will meet the media Tuesday at 2 p.m. (CT) to preview the 2017 Big Ten Tournament.
The briefing with local, regional, and national media will be held in the Press Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes (18-13, 10-8) finished the regular season in a four-way tie for fifth place in the Big Ten regular season standings after winning their final four games of the regular season.
Iowa enters the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 7 seed where it will face 10th-seeded Indiana (17-14, 7-11) on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. (CT) at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. at 5:30 p.m. (CT). The Hawkeyes won the lone regular-season meeting, 96-90 in overtime, on Feb. 24 in Iowa City.
