IOWA CITY, Iowa — Tickets for the NIT Second Round contest between Iowa (19-14) and TCU (20-15), slated for Sunday at 4 p.m. CT (ESPN2) on Mediacom Court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, will go on sale to the general public beginning Thursday at 1 p.m. (CT).
Tickets can be purchased for $20 for adults, and $5 for youth/UI students.
Tickets will be available during normal business hours at the Athletic Ticket Office inside the Dale & Marilyn Howard Family Pavilion on the north side of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, over the phone at 1-800-IA-HAWKS, or online at hawkeyesports.com/tickets. The ticket office windows are open daily from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
The Hawkeyes won their first round game, 87-75, on Wednesday over the Summit League regular season champion South Dakota Coyotes in Iowa City. The Horned Frogs beat Fresno State, 66-59, in third first round contest in Fort Worth, Texas, on Wednesday.
A total of 12,864 fans attended Iowa’s first round game against South Dakota on Wednesday night, the highest attendance figure among the 16 first round NIT games.
Sunday will be the third overall meeting between Iowa and TCU and first since 1948.
