IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa men’s tennis players Jake Jacoby and Jason Kerst have been recognized by the International Tennis Association for their academic prowess in 2016-17.
Individual honors are awarded to letterwinners with a GPA of 3.50 or above.
Jacoby won 14 singles matches last spring, including winning seven straight decisions in March. The senior-to-be is also an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. Kerst won five singles matches as a freshman, including winning three of his final four matches of the spring season.
