Iowa, Hy-Vee Partner to Aid Hurricane Victims on Saturday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa will partner with Hy-Vee, Inc. on Saturday to aid hurricane victims in Texas and Florida. Starting at 10:30 a.m., before the North Texas versus Iowa football game, fans can drop off monetary donations as well as nonperishable items at a Hy-Vee semi-truck that will be parked at Krause Family Plaza in Iowa City. Donations will be taken until the end of the game.
 
All donations will be provided to the American Red Cross for distribution in areas hardest hit by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. According to the American Red Cross, toilet paper, paper towels, large trash bags and diapers are most needed.
