Womens Tennis Opens Season at Tribe Invite

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s tennis team begins its fall season this weekend at the Tribe Invitational at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Hawkeyes open the round-robin dual tournament on Friday at 1 p.m. (CT) against William and Mary. Iowa faces Old Dominion at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Dartmouth at 8 a.m. Sunday.

The outdoor tournament will be played at the Millie West Tennis Facility. If inclement weather moves into the area, matches will be played indoors at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
 
Seven Hawkeyes are competing this weekend. Freshmen Danielle Bauers, Danielle Burich and Yufei Long are expected to make their collegiate debuts. They are joined by seniors Anastasia Reimchen, Zoe Douglas, and Montana Crawford, and junior Adorabol Huckleby.
