Iowa Rowing Hosts Scrimmage

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa rowing team hosts a scrimmage with Big Ten opponents Indiana and Wisconsin on the Iowa River on Friday and Saturday.

The varsity crews will race two single file time trials against the clock on Friday, beginning at 4 p.m. (CT). The varsity crews will race six 1,000-meter repeats on Saturday, while the novice crews will race six 600-meter repeats. Racing will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday.

The Hawkeyes return to the water Oct. 21-22 at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston and Oct. 22 at the Jayhawk Jamboree in Lawrence, Kansas.
