IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa seniors Mallory Lefkowitz and Katie Jones were selected to the 2017 Victory Sports Tour/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Senior Game roster on Wednesday.
The team includes 50 student-athletes from across the country selected as either participants or alternates. Lefkowitz was selected as a participant, while Jones is on the roster as an alternate.
Lefkowitz has scored two goals for four points for the Hawkeyes this season. The Kingston, Pennsylvania, native has 11 goals, 10 assists, and 32 points in her career. Jones has been in goal for all 15 games this season. She has registered 73 saves in 1058.56 minutes in goal.
The Senior Game will be played following the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Tournament on Nov. 17 at the University of Louisville.
The Hawkeyes close out the regular season this weekend. Iowa travels to Michigan State on Oct. 20, before hosting Ohio State on Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. (CT).
