MINNEAPOLIS — The University of Iowa diving team concluded competition at the Minnesota Diving Invitational Saturday morning in Minneapolis. The Hawkeyes closed out the invitational with platform diving, competing in the event for the first time this season. 
 
34535Freshmen Anton Hoherz and Jonatan Posligua led the Hawkeyes on the men’s side with scores of 295.95 and 294.55 finishing 11th and 12th, respectively. Ohio State’s Christopher Law won the event with a score of 384.60. 
 
On the women’s side, sophomore Thelma Strandberg placed 12th off the platform with a score of 196.15. Nebraska’s Abigail Knapton won the event scoring 261.30. 
 
Iowa returns to action at the Minnesota Jean Freeman Invitational from Nov. 30-Dec. 2 in Minneapolis.
