IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa sophomore Natalie Winters will travel to Sunrise, Florida, for the United States U-20 Women’s National Team Camp from Nov. 16-23. This age group begins a new cycle with the goal of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France.
Winters just completed her sophomore season with the Hawkeyes, where she was a third-team All-Big Ten selection. She started all 19 games, scoring two goals and tying for the team lead with five assists.
Iowa won nine games and advanced to the Big Ten Tournament for the first time in three seasons.
Winters is a U.S. Women’s National Team regular. She has competed in nine U.S. Women’s National team camps in her career.
