IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa Athletics Department will release a five-part video series this week on its official Twitter and Facebook social media platforms about former men’s basketball standout Chris Street entitled, “Emotion in Motion.” The five-part series will run Tuesday through Saturday this week.

This past January marked the 25-year anniversary of Street’s untimely passing. Street died in an auto accident on Jan. 19, 1993, midway through his junior season. Rick Brown, author of the book Emotion in Motion, sat down with Street’s former head coach Tom Davis, trainer John Streif, and teammates Wade Lookingbill, Russ Millard, Jim Bartels, James Moses, and Brig Tubbs reflecting back on the Hawkeye legend and sharing the unforgettable moments they shared with Street.

“Reminiscing about Chris Street was both an enjoyable and emotional experience,” said Brown. “My goal was to give viewers an inside look at who Chris was and what made him tick, through the eyes of those who knew him best. Their love and respect for him is what I’ll always remember.”
