Solaroli Named NFHCA Scholar of Distinction

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa sophomore Isabella Solaroli has been named a 2017 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I Scholar of Distinction, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced Thursday.
The award recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
Solaroli played in every game for the Hawkeyes this season, registering three points. The Yorktown, Virginia, native was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree in 2017.
