IOWA CITY, IOWA — The University of Iowa field hockey team has earned the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award for the second straight year, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
The Division I National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team GPA of 3.0 of higher during the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. Iowa is one of 74 programs to receive the award.
