The University of Iowa women’s tennis team travels this weekend to Wisconsin and Minnesota to compete in their final two Big Ten matches of the season. Iowa plays Wisconsin on Saturday at 11 a.m. (CT) before heading to Minneapolis to take on Minnesota on Sunday at 10 a.m.

TAKING ON THE BADGERS
Saturday’s match is the 52nd all-time meeting between the Hawkeyes and the Badgers. Iowa trails in the series, 41-10. Iowa’s last win over Wisconsin came in 2017, 6-1.
TAKING ON THE GOPHERS
Sunday’s match is the 62nd all-time meeting between the Hawkeyes and the Gophers. Iowa trails Minnesota in the series, 22-39. Iowa’s last victory over Minnesota came in 2017, 4-2.
FINISHING STRONG
With two wins this weekend, Iowa would cement its place in next weekend’s Big Ten Conference Tournament in Omaha, Nebraska. Iowa is currently 8th in the Big Ten standings and needs to finish within the top 10 to qualify for the Big Ten Conference Tournament. Individually, Michelle Bacalla and Ashleigh Jacobs each look to continue their five-match singles win streak.
