IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head soccer coach Dave DiIanni released the details of the Hawkeyes’ 20-game fall schedule. Iowa will play 11 games at the Iowa Soccer Complex.

  • Iowa will face six teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament — North Carolina State, Northwestern, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio State.  NC State and Wisconsin advanced to the Sweet 16; Minnesota advanced to the Round of 32.
  • The Hawkeyes open the regular season with four straight home matches, including an Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series matchup against Iowa State on Aug. 29.
  • Iowa opens Big Ten play with road games at Indiana and Purdue before playing five of its next six games at home.  The Hawkeyes close out the regular season with a Senior Day matchup against Ohio State.
  • The Hawkeyes will play at Notre Dame on Sept. 15, the first trip to South Bend, Indiana, since playing in the NCAA Tournament in 2013.

The Hawkeyes return 22 letterwinners and 10 starters, including two-time All-Big Ten selection Natalie Winters, from a team that won eight games in 2018.
