Iowa Football 3-Game Mini-Packs Now on Sale

IOWA CITY, Iowa – – Three-game mini-packs for select University of Iowa football games are now available through the UI Athletics Ticket Office, beginning at 9 a.m. (CT) on Thursday, June 6.

The mini-pack options are available for either $195 (Penn State game option), or $175 (Minnesota game option), and include attending three of the seven home games on the 2019 schedule. Beginning June 6, fans can sign up to receive more information HERE, or visit hawkeyesports.com/FootballGameday.

Football InsertOne mini-pack option includes the home game vs. Penn State (Oct. 12), and any two of the other home games, except the Minnesota (Nov. 16) contest. The other option includes the Floyd of Rosedale match-up vs. Minnesota, and any two games other than Penn State. Purchase a mini-pack HERE.

Fight For Iowa Mobile tickets remain available for any of the seven home games at a cost of $260. The Fight for Iowa pass is 100 percent mobile and includes an electronic ticket to all seven home games for $260. Up to eight FFI passes can be purchased together, allowing fans to enjoy the game with family and friends.

“These multiple ticket package options are available to meet the changing needs of our fans,” said Charlie Taylor, UI associate athletics director for strategic communications and marketing. “Fans can choose the package that fits their needs for being part of the festivities of game day at Kinnick Stadium.

“The mini-pack options allow fans to attend one of the oldest college football rivalry games against Minnesota. Iowa and Penn State games the last two seasons have been decided in the final minute. These options allow fans to guarantee seats at either of these games while getting two additional home dates for one low price.”

The season will kick off Aug. 31 with the Kinnick Edge Kickoff game against Miami, Ohio (6:30 p.m., FS1), presented by Eastern Iowa Airport, featuring the opening of the new North end zone project. Iowa will unveil a new videoboard and amenities including additional restrooms, wider concourses, and new concessions.

FryFest (Aug. 30) will be held at the Iowa River Landing celebrating everything Hawkeye and the National Iowa Varsity Club will celebrate the 2019 Hall of Fame class throughout the weekend. It will also be the annual Extra Yard for Teachers Day as Iowa salutes teachers from around the state.

Iowa’s Big Ten opener against Rutgers (Sept. 7, 11 a.m., FS1) is the Fight for Iowa game, presented by UICCU. Halftime will feature a return visit by country artist Pat Green to celebrate the Hawkeye Wave. Green and the Hawkeye Marching Band will present a show recognizing those in the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Fans are encouraged to wear Fight for Iowa gear.

Middle Tennessee (Sept. 28, time TBA) is the Harvest Kickoff Gold Game, presented by REG bringing awareness to farm safety. Halftime will feature a youth spirit performance with the Hawkeye Marching Band and spirit squads. Fans are encouraged to wear gold.

Iowa’s contest against Penn State (Oct. 12, time TBA) is the annual America Needs Farmers (ANF) game, presented by Iowa Farm Bureau. This will also be the annual Black and Gold Spirit Game, with fans encouraged to wear either black or gold attire depending on their seat location.

Homecoming against Purdue (Oct. 19, 11 a.m.) is being presented by Wellmark. Fans are encouraged to wear throwback gear and celebrate the history of Hawkeye football and welcome alumni back to campus.

Iowa’s contest with Minnesota (Nov. 16) features a salute to the military, presented by Athletico. As a part of Family Weekend, Iowa football will have special acknowledgments to active duty and veterans of armed services as the Hawkeyes battle for Floyd of Rosedale. Fans are encouraged to wear black.

The final home game of the season against Illinois (Nov. 23, time TBA) is Senior Day, celebrating senior classes for the football program, marching band, and spirit squads.
