IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former University of Iowa women’s basketball student-athlete Tania Davis has been named a graduate manager at Clemson. Davis began her duties on June 20.

A native of Flint, Michigan, Davis became the 36th Hawkeye in program history to score 1,000 career points. She ended her career with 1,007 points. Davis started all 36 games last season, helping the Hawkeyes to their first Elite Eight appearance since 1993 and first Big Ten Tournament Title since 2001. The honorable mention All-Big Ten selection dished out 162 assists last season, a mark that ranks third all-time for Iowa seniors.

Davis will make her return to Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Dec. 4 when the Hawkeyes host the Tigers as part of the 2019 Big Ten/ACC Challenge. It will mark the first ever meeting between the two teams.
