IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s basketball team begins its foreign tour next week, traveling to Spain for three contests from Aug. 7-18.
The Hawkeyes will visit Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona over the 12-day span, taking on all-star teams in each city.
Game Schedule:
Saturday, Aug. 10 – Iowa vs. Madrid All-Stars
Tuesday, Aug. 13 – Iowa vs. Valencia All-Stars
Friday, Aug. 16 – Iowa vs. Mataro All-Stars
The Hawkeyes return 10 letterwinners from last season, including first team All-Big Ten (Coaches) selection Kathleen Doyle. Iowa welcomes three newcomers to its roster, including Megan Meyer, McKenna Warnock, and Gabbie Marshall.
