IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa rowing team starts its fall season this weekend at the 55th running of the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts, and the seventh annual Jayhawk Jamboree in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Hawkeyes are scheduled to race in the Sunday sessions of both competitions. This is Iowa’s first official competition of the fall season after a scrimmage with Indiana and Wisconsin Oct. 4-5.

A majority of Iowa’s boats will be racing at the Jayhawk Jamboree, but the I Varsity Eight and I Varsity Four will compete at the Head of the Charles.

Live results links and the schedule for both events are available on the team’s schedule page at hawkeyesports.com. A live stream of the Head of the Charles is available at hocr.org.
