IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America team, it was announced Wednesday by the CSCAA.
The Hawkeye men earned the distinction after posting a 3.18 team grade point average during the fall semester; the women’s team had a 3.36 team grade point average.
The awards are in recognition of teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The association honored 762 programs from 480 institutions.
Iowa returns to action Feb. 7, hosting Western Illinois at 6 p.m. (CT) at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. It is the Hawkeyes’ final home dual of the season.
