IOWA CITY, Iowa – Registration is open for the University of Iowa swimming and diving program’s Hawkeye Swim Camps. All camps will be held at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.
The Hawkeye Swim Camps will hold two camps from June 7-11 and June 14-18. They are open to competitive swimmers of all levels, ranging from ages 9-18. To register as a resident camper, you must be at least 10 years old by the initial day of your camp week.
The camps will focus on technique of each of the primary four strokes (free, fly, back, breast), including two daily water sessions dedicated to drill work. All in-pool work will be conducted in short course yards. Campers will have the chance to hear from head coach Marc Long, Hawkeye assistant coaches, and student-athletes.
