3 Newcomers Sign With Hawkeyes

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head men’s golf coach Tyler Stith announced on Monday that Ronan Kleu, Carlos Roldos, and Ian Meyer have signed with the University of Iowa.

 

RONAN KLEU
Zollikerberg, Switzerland (Kantonsschule Kusnacht/Columbus State)
“Coming from a NCAA Division II program, I was seeking a Division I college golf experience to compete against the best players in the nation. I believe Iowa provides the combination of both a strong golf schedule and the academic challenge that I am looking for. I am excited to be joining the program!”

  • Currently ranked No. 378 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings
  • 2019 Swiss National Champion; 2020 Swiss International Champion
  • 2020 Division II Second Team All-American
  • 2020 All-Peach Belt Conference First Team
  • 2020 Swiss Interclub Team Champions
  • Posted five top 10’s and two top 5’s in seven events last season
  • 2019-20 Division II Academic All-American 2019-20 (4.0 GPA)
  • Played for the Swiss National Team
