IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa soccer team released the details of its 11-game Big Ten Conference-only regular season schedule Friday. The Hawkeyes will play five home games at the Iowa Soccer Complex this spring.
Iowa opens the season with three consecutive road games, beginning with a Feb. 20 matchup at Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes home opener is set for March 4 against Michigan.
Following the regular season finale at Nebraska on April 3, Iowa will compete in Wildcard Weekend during the weekend of April 8-11. This will consist of 1-2 nonconference matchups against Big Ten foes with the exact format, dates, times, opponents and locations to be announced at a later date.
The four-team Big Ten Tournament will be played April 15-18, consisting of a semifinal and championship game. It will be played at the highest remaining seed.
