Weather Postpones Kiawah Invitational First Round

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The University of Iowa men’s golf team was set to tee off its second event of the season on Sunday at the inaugural Kiawah Invitational. However, the first day of competition was washed out due to rain.

The tournament will begin on Monday with 36 holes of continuous play to make up for Sunday’s postponement. The round begins at 7 a.m. (CT) and will continue throughout the day.

Fifth-year seniors Alex Schaake and Benton Weinberg, senior Jake Rowe, junior Gonzalo Leal Montero, and sophomore Mac McClear will compete for the Hawkeyes. All Iowa golfers will start on the back nine.
