IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s rowing team has released its 2021 schedule. The schedule features matchups against Big Ten, Big-12, ACC, Pac-12, and AAC schools.
Iowa opens the season on March 4 in Merritt Island, Florida, against Southern Methodist. The Hawkeyes will stay there to face SMU again on March 7 before returning home.
Iowa has two weeks off before heading to Columbus, Ohio, to compete against Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, and Oregon State on March 27.
The Big Ten Invitational will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio, on April 17 and 18.
Iowa host Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Kansas on April 24 in Iowa City, Iowa, for the team’s sole home event of the season.
The Hawkeyes will close the regular season with a trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan, on May 1 to take on Michigan and Louisville.
The postseason begins with the Big Ten Championships on May 16. The location is yet to be determined. The NCAA Championship is set for May 28-30 in Bradenton, Fla. at Nathan Benderson Park.
