Clark, Team USA Down Chinese Taipei

DEBRECEN, Hungary — University of Iowa women’s basketball sophomore Caitlin Clark and Team USA won its first 2021 FIBA Women’s U19 World Cup bracket-play game on Wednesday over Chinese Taipei, 129-45.

Nine Team USA athletes scored in double figures, including Clark with 10 points. The West Des Moines, Iowa, native dished out eight assists, pulled down five rebounds, recorded a steal and a block in the fourth win of the tournament for the Red, White, and Blue.
