PISCATAWAY, N.J. – University of Iowa senior Anthe Nijziel and junior Esme Gibson have been named to the Big Ten All-Tournament team, it was announced Sunday.
Both players played the duration of Friday’s semifinal game against No. 2 Michigan – a 3-2 loss. It is the second career honor for both players.
The Hawkeyes will learn their NCAA Tournament seed Sunday at 9 p.m. (CT) during the NCAA Selection Show, which will air live on NCAA.com.
