PITTSBURGH – The University of Iowa women’s golf team fired a second round 307 on Saturday in the second round of the Big Ten Championships at Fox Chapel Golf Club. The Hawkeyes are tied for 13th place with a 616 (309-307) through 36 holes.
Junior Morgan Goldstein had the best round of the day for Iowa, shooting a four-over par 75. Through 36 holes, Goldstein is tied for 55th place with a 152 (77-75).
No. 18 Michigan leads the team race with a two-under par 566, four shots clear of No. 34 Michigan State and No. 36 Northwestern. The Wolverines’ Monet Chunt has a two-shot lead over Illinois’ Crystal Wang with a 136 (-6).
