IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa women’s tennis team will continue its fall season, traveling to Stillwater, Oklahoma, to compete in the ITA Central Region Championships. The event begins Thursday and continues through Monday at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
Thirty teams make up the grand total of 148 players competing in the tournament. For the first time this fall, almost every Hawkeye will be taking the court with the exception of Barbora Pokorna, who is rehabbing an injury.
In doubles action, Vipasha Mehra will pair with Daianne Hayashida, Marisa Schmidt and Samantha Mannix will team up, and Anya Lamoreaux will compete with Pia Kranholdt.
