GymHawks To Compete in Inaugural Super 16

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The No. 18 ranked University of Iowa women’s gymnastics team is set to compete at the inaugural Super 16 presented by Ozone at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 7.

The Super 16 will be the largest women’s collegiate invitational with more than 300 gymnasts competing and will open the first two days of the women’s 2023 collegiate season.

The two-day competition will have four competitive sessions, with team, all-around and event champions for each session. All-session tickets go on sale to the public today.

All-session tickets range from $79 to $291 plus fees and may be purchased online through the Orleans Arena website. Discounted tickets will be available through participating gym clubs. The universities competing in the Super 16 on Friday, Jan. 6 include Fisk, Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon State, Rutgers, Southern Utah, Stanford and Washington; and on Saturday, Jan. 7 the teams are Arizona State, Auburn, BYU, Cal – Berkeley, Iowa, Michigan, Oklahoma and UCLA.
