4 Hawkeyes Named NFHCA Division I Scholars of Distinction

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Four University of Iowa field hockey student-athletes – Hillary Cox, Harper Dunne, Lokke Stribos and Sofie Stribos – have been named National Field Hockey Coaches Association Scholars of Distinction, it was announced Thursday by the NFHCA.

The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2022-23 academic year.

It is the third consecutive honor for Dunne, while Cox and both Stribos have earned the distinction in back-to-back years.

Iowa advanced to the Elite Eight for the 21st time in program history during the 2022 season, where it finished with a 12-8 overall record.
