COLUMBUS, Ohio – University of Iowa diving traveled to the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion for day one of a two-day meet against Ohio State and Virginia Tech.
Iowa competed in the 3-meter dive, where freshman Simone Beinlich and returning senior Sarah Ballard both set season bests. Beinlich finished in third with a 291.6 and Ballard finished in sixth with an even 271.
The Hawkeye divers continue the meet in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. (CT). Down the road, the Hawkeye swimmers take on Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, at 11:30 a.m. (CT).
