“I am happy for the team to get out and start the season today. It was a tough match and I think we handled some adversity well this weekend with the weather and delays. I am happy to be competing again. The team did great for the first time out this season and it is a match we can build upon. We’re hoping we can get home safely and get ready for our match at Notre Dame on Saturday.”

Iowa will head to South Bend next weekend to compete at Notre Dame. The match will start at 10 a.m. (CT) on Saturday.
