PINEHURST, N.C. – The University of Iowa men’s golf team concluded play at the Wake Forest Invitational on Tuesday. The Hawkeyes shot 60-over par (300/298/302 = 900) as they finished 12th place.
Junior Ian Meyer was the low finisher for the Hawkeyes. Meyer shot 4-over par (74) during Tuesday’s final round. Meyer finished the tournament tied for 45th.
Freshman Noah Kent matched Meyer’s final round also carding 74 (+4). Kent finished the tournament at 13-over par and tied for 49th.
Auburn won the tournament at 12-over par. Mats Ege of East Tennessee State and Jackson Koivun of Auburn were the individual medalist at 1-under par.
