Hawk Item — Finished her career as the school record holder as part of the 800-free relay (7:08.06)… also had the fifth-best time in the 200 free (1:48.89), the seventh-fastest time in the 100 fly (54.54), and the eighth-fastest in the 100 free (50.48).

2017-18 Honors — Academic All Big Ten. 2017-18 — Swam collegiate-bests in 50 free (23.56), 100 free (50.48), 200 free (1:48.89), and 500 free (5:01.27)… scored in two events at the Big Ten Championships, placing eighth in 800-free relay (7:08.06) and 10th in 400-free relay (3:20.77)… posted two individual event wins.

2016-17 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten selection. 2016-17 — Posted a collegiate-best performance in 200 free (1:50.46) and swam to season-best performances in 50 free (23.64), 100 free (50.99), and 100 fly (55.10)… ranked fourth on the team in 100 and 200 free… was a member of the 800-free relay (7:14.31) that finished 11th at the Big Ten Championships.

2015-16 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten selection… named to UI’s Dean’s List in fall semester. 2015-16 — Swam collegiate-bests in 50 free (23.54), 100 free (50.96), 200 free (1:53.55), 200 IM (2:04.68)… member of school-record-setting 400-free relay (3:20.58), set at the Hawkeye Invitational… swam a season-best in 100 fly (55.57)… member of the team’s fastest 400-free and 800-free relays… swam to pool record in 400-free relay (3:22.84) at Iowa State’s Beyer Pool… scored team points in three events at Big Ten Championships… was 10th in 200 and 400-free relays and 11th in 800-free relay… member of two winning relays on the year.

2014-15 — Posted collegiate-best times in the 50 free (23.83), 100 free (51.06), 200 free (1:55.72), 100 fly (54.54), and 200 IM (2:06.22)… member of Iowa’s record-setting 200-medley relay (1:39.18)… led the team in the 100 fly with a school-record time of 54.54 and posted Iowa’s second-fastest 100 free time… member of team’s second-fastest 400 free-relay (3:22.04) and third-fastest 200 free relay (1:34.28)… letterwinner.

High School — Twelve-time Wisconsin state qualifier, three-time NCSA Junior National qualifier, two-time YMCA National qualifier and was the Wisconsin USS 100-meter butterfly state champion in 2012… holds three school records, is a two-time all-state and four-time all-conference selection… twice was named team captain… finished sixth in the 100-yard fly (56.47) and seventh in the 200-IM (2:07.73) at the state meet as a senior.

Personal — Born July 24, 1996… daughter of Mat and Karen O’Brien… has two sisters, Katelyn and Lauren… majoring in accounting.
