High School — Two-time All-American… Swimmer of the Year as a senior… four-time all-state honoree… state champion in 100 breast as a sophomore and junior… state runner-up as a freshman and senior… three-time conference champion, winning 100 breast as junior and senior and 200-IM as senior… also was runner-up in 200 IM as junior… school record holder in 100 breast (1:02)… placed in top eight in 100 breast at Futures meet and finished in top five in 50 and 100 breast at sectionals… National Honor Society member… high school coach was Mike Witt.
