2021-22 Honors – Second-team CSCAA Scholar All-American honoree… named to the Dean’s List during the fall and spring semesters. 2021-22 – Posted NCAA Zone Diving qualifying standards off the 1-meter… scored team’s third highest 1-meter (277.20)… scored team’s fourth highest 3-meter (266.18) and platform (161.95)… placed 34th in preliminary rounds at NCAA Zone D Diving Championships with 232.65.
High School — First-team all-state as a senior… three-time all-conference selection… state champion at the 2020 state meet… three-time Mississippi Athletic Conference champion… holds varsity six and 11 dive records at Bettendorf High School… National Honor Society… academic honors all four years… also was in competitive tumbling at Elite Twisters Fire… high school coach was Mary Doeder.
Personal — Aug. 29, 2003, in Geneseo, Illinois… daughter of Lyndsay and Joe O’Brien (stepfather) and Jeff Hughbanks… has three older siblings, Rylan Hughbanks and Tristan and Tylar O’Brien… majoring in health and human physiology or business.
