Hawkeyes End Season As Top 20 Team

The University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving team has finishedthe season as a top 20 team nationally. At the NCAA Championships, the Hawkeyes scored 41points to place 20th. This is the most points any Hawkeye team has ever posted at thechampionships.

“I’m thrilled with how we ended our season,” said head coach Garland O’Keeffe. “I amso proud of all three of our athletes for going to the NCAA Championships and getting into thefinals in one of the most elite meets in the nation.”Swimmer Jennifer Skolaski and divers Lisette Planken and Nancilea Underwood wereall named All-Americans.
