IOWA CITY – The Iowa baseball team’s game against Southwest Missouri State on Friday, March 5 has been postponed due to heavy rain in the Springfield, MO, area.
Iowa and SMS will still play a three-game series over the weekend with a doubleheader (two nine-inning games) on Saturday beginning at noon at Price Cutter Park. The final game will be played as scheduled on Sunday, starting at 1 p.m.
Iowa enters the contest with a record of 1-2, while the Bears hold a 1-5 mark.
