Iowa Finish Strong at ITA Regionals

ANN ARBOR, MI – The Iowa men’s tennis team was eliminated today from doubles main draw action. Iowa made the quarterfinals of a 64-team bracket, before being defeated today.

Juniors Kyle Markham and Brett Taylor were eliminated from doubles action today by No. 1 seed Ryler DeHeart and GD Jones of Illinois (8-6). DeHeart and Jones are ranked 17th nationally. Markham and Taylor went 3-1 in doubles play through the course of the tournament.

The Hawkeyes will compete next at the Big Ten Singles Tournament on November 13-15 in Madison, WI, at the Nielson Tennis Stadium.
