The Dec. 25 installment of “Iowa Basketball with Steve Alford” was a late addition to the schedule for the weekly television show of Iowa’s head basketball coach. And, as a reminder, the Hawkeyes will close the non-conference portion of their 2005-06 schedule at Saint Louis on Dec. 30. Iowa then will turn its attention to the 2006 Big Ten Conference season. Iowa’s four weekend Big Ten games are nearing sellout status; tickets also remain available for the Hawkeyes’ weekday dates against Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan State and Penn State.
