IOWA CITY – University of Iowa baseball player Tim Gudex has been named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week. The announcement came from the Big Ten Conference office.

Gudex, a senior closer from Appleton, WI, picked up two wins and a save last week, while allowing just three base runners (one hit, one walk and one hit batsman) in four games.
