Hawkeyes Prepare For Big Ten Championships

THIS WEEK — The University of Iowa men’s golf team will conclude its regular season by traveling to Columbus, OH, to compete in the Big Ten Championships Friday thru Sunday.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION — Competition will be held on the Ohio State University Scarlet Course. Friday’s play will begin with tee times at 8 a.m. (EDT) and consist of 36 holes. Eighteen holes will be played Saturday and Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT — The Hawkeyes traveled to East Lansing, MI, last weekend to compete in the Bruce Fossum Invitational. Iowa finished tied for eighth with a score of 875. Sophomore Cole Peevler had an outstanding performance in the first day of competition as he posted scores of 70 and 66. He shot a 74 in the third round to finish sixth. Senior Jon Feldick shot a 215 and tied for 16th. Junior Dan Holterhaus posted a final round of 78 to finish tied for 47th. Senior Bennet Hammerberg tied for 57th with 227. Sophomore Zack Anderson finished 66th with a 232.
