The University of Iowa baseball team will hold its Spring Training Camp for high school athletes March 24 and 31, April 14 and 21 at Duane Banks Field. The cost is $185.
From 6-9 p.m. each week, all players will have the opportunity to participate in a college style practice. All aspects of the game will be covered, including fielding, hitting, base running and pitching. Coach-pitch scrimmages will be held at the end of each day. The camp is limited to 40 participants.
Instruction is provided by members of the Iowa coaching staff, including Pitching Coach Nick Zumsande, Assistant Coach Ryan Brownlee, Volunteer Assistant Kris Welker and Director of Baseball Operations Matt Haddy.
